Jiayu Zhang is a multi-media artist based in Beijing and Los Angeles.
Inspired by the working methods of self-ethnography, Jiayu
consciously explores the interspacial relationships between individual narratives and ideologies. Her works explores wide-ranging themes including collective trauma, memory, intimacy and displacement which unfold in different
mediums, including photography, film and performance.
Born in 1995 in Shenyang, China. Now lives in Beijing and Los Angeles.
